Co-lyophilized BPC-157 10 mg and TB-500 10 mg.
BPC157 10mg + TB500 10mg FAQ
What is a BPC-157 + TB-500 blend?
A single vial in which BPC-157 and TB-500 were dissolved together in a fixed ratio and freeze-dried (co-lyophilized), so both peptides are present as one powder. The amount of each peptide is stated on the label, for example 10 mg + 10 mg. The lot's Certificate of Analysis reports each component, and the HPLC chromatogram shows a separate peak for each peptide.
BPC-157 / TB-500 blend vs. separate vials
A blend fixes the ratio of the two peptides in one vial, which saves a reconstitution step and keeps the ratio identical across experiments. Separate vials let a researcher vary each peptide independently, run single-compound controls, and keep a separate Certificate of Analysis for each compound. Choose separate vials when the experiment needs either peptide on its own.
How do you reconstitute a BPC-157 / TB-500 blend vial?
The same way as any lyophilized peptide: let the sealed vial reach room temperature, add the chosen sterile diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial, and swirl gently until the powder dissolves without shaking. Each component's concentration is its labeled mass divided by the volume of diluent added, so a 10 mg + 10 mg vial dissolved in a given volume holds both peptides at the same concentration. Label the vial with the date and concentrations and keep it refrigerated.
What is a peptide blend (multi-component vial)?
A vial containing two or more peptides that were combined in solution in a set ratio and then freeze-dried together. The label states the mass of each component. Testing a blend is more involved than testing a single peptide: HPLC has to resolve each component as its own peak, and mass spectrometry should confirm each expected molecular weight.
BPC-157 vs. TB-500: how do they differ?
They are unrelated molecules. BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide (GEPPPGKPADDAGLV) based on a partial sequence of a protein found in gastric juice. TB-500 is the name used for synthetic peptides derived from thymosin β4, a 43-amino-acid protein that binds actin inside cells; depending on the supplier it denotes the full-length sequence or a fragment around its actin-binding region. They differ in length, sequence, origin and the cellular pathways studied, and are often supplied together as a co-lyophilized blend for convenience in research.
Why are BPC-157 and TB-500 often studied together?
BPC-157 and TB-500 are unrelated molecules that have been examined in overlapping research areas, such as tissue-repair models, through different mechanisms. BPC-157 research has focused on nitric oxide, VEGF receptor 2 and growth-factor signaling, while thymosin β4, the parent of TB-500, is an actin-binding protein studied in cell migration. Because researchers often look at both, they are commonly supplied as one co-lyophilized vial. Few published studies have examined the two in combination, and cell or animal findings do not establish effects in people.
What is the difference between the 5 mg + 5 mg and 10 mg + 10 mg BPC-157/TB-500 blends?
Only the amount of each peptide. Both vials hold BPC-157 and TB-500 in the same 1:1 ratio by mass: one contains 5 mg of each, the other 10 mg of each. Reconstituted in the same volume of diluent, the 10 mg + 10 mg vial gives twice the concentration of each component. Each lot has its own Certificate of Analysis.
How is a BPC-157/TB-500 blend tested?
Each component is checked separately. HPLC should show a distinct peak for BPC-157 and for TB-500, with purity reported for each. Mass spectrometry should confirm each expected molecular weight: about 1419.5 Da for BPC-157, and for TB-500 the value matching the sequence stated on the lot's Certificate of Analysis. A missing peak or mass means that component cannot be confirmed.
Is the BPC-157/TB-500 blend FDA approved?
No. Neither BPC-157 nor TB-500 is approved by the FDA, alone or in combination, and both are on the World Anti-Doping Agency's Prohibited List. The blend is a research reagent for laboratory use only, not a medicine or a supplement.
Does BPC157 10mg + TB500 10mg come with a Certificate of Analysis?
Yes. Each lot has its own Certificate of Analysis, linked on this page for the current lot of each size: (10mg+10mg) (99.4% HPLC purity). Past certificates are archived in the COA library; contact us with the lot number on the vial label if a certificate is missing.
What purity is BPC157 10mg + TB500 10mg?
99.4% (HPLC, current lot). Purity is measured by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and reported on the lot's Certificate of Analysis.
What sizes of BPC157 10mg + TB500 10mg are available?
BPC157 10mg + TB500 10mg is supplied as lyophilized powder in a sealed vial: (10mg+10mg). In stock and dispatched in 1–2 business days. Quantity pricing applies automatically at 5+ and 10+ vials of the same size.
How should BPC157 10mg + TB500 10mg be stored?
